This unit is offered as part of the Bachelor of Education (Primary) course. The aim of the unit is to support students' understanding of core science ideas and enable them to interpret and extend these to designing activity sequences in primary school based on current thinking about teaching and learning principles. The unit will have a special focus on learning theories and pedagogies, on sustainability issues in primary schools, and on representing the nature of science.Assessment -- Course Website
