In this unit students will expand their understanding of the nature of the curriculum, pedagogy and assessment of mathematics, science and technology and the implications for teaching with emphasis on the role of literacies in these areas. In addition, the unit will prepare students for professional experience in mathematics, science and technology. The focus will be on developing strategies to provide challenging, coherent, engaging and inclusive learning experiences for children, plan units of work, and consider the selection and use of appropriate resources, including information and communication technologies.
