The unit is designed to provide students with an understanding of workplaces as learning environments, conceptualisations of situated adult learning, cognition and the development of expertise, work based learning and learning organisations, learning and labour networks, and communities of practice. Drawing on learning theories relevant to this field of study, students will analyse situated adult learning in a specific workplace context and will propose strategies to effectively manage situated learning in that context. -- Course Website
