This unit will provide students with opportunities to engage with the education and care of children from 3-5 years of age and apply theories of child development in practical contexts. In a supervised practicum, students will observe and engage with young children, teachers and families and will be able to critically analyse and reflect on the components of quality environments and programmes for young children.
