This is a unit of reading and writing creative nonfiction, which explores the personal essay as a form of nonfiction narrative. The unit focuses on reading and analysis of creative nonfiction models, on their breadth and depth and the uses to which writers put the form. Students are encouraged to experiment with structure, style and voice and to target specific readerships when writing their own nonfiction narratives. -- Course Website
