This unit provides students with the skills to report, interpret and comment in depth on public affairs and to work as specialists in different branches of journalism and local government. These include business journalism, political journalism, religious affairs journalism, ethnic affairs journalism and crime and police reporting journalism. This unit enables students to develop skills in the gathering and delivery of news and feature items.
