The primary aims of this unit are to enable students to develop an understanding of cultural diversity, and to equip them to respond appropriately to social and cultural difference. It outlines the core features of culture and communication as human constructs, and explores key questions concerning interactions between groups that are defined by cultural, ethnic, socio-economic or religious differences.
