This unit will introduce the idea of implied human presence by painting and drawing location and landscape. Conceptual issues and practical skills will focus on tonal and colour relationships, positive/negative spatial relationships, the principles of composition and illusion to human presence. Settings and locations will be developed via varying modes of representation. -- Course Website
