This unit focuses on the development of ideas through brainstorming and creative thinking techniques. Consideration will be given to the craft elements used in design such as paper folding, scoring, the creation of 3D shapes, texture and mark making. Students will develop conceptual skills through the generation of interesting ideas that will be presented and discussed with their peers in a supportive class environment. Topic areas include; the art and craft of design, mark making, 3D shape, paper construction, idea generation and problem solving. -- Course Website
