Students will undertake regular technique classes which increasingly refer to resources for building kinaesthetic imagination and articulation. These resources can include developmental movement, ideokinesis, and release technique. Students will design and carry out individual choreographic research projects comprising a performance work and accompanying written exegesis. Through self-directed reading and consultation with the Unit Chair, students will write an exegesis which contextualises and reports on their choreographic process in relation to available research in the field. -- Course Website
