The unit will begin with screenings and analysis of examples of short form narrative film. These examples will set some of the narrative, formal and stylistic criteria within which project proposals will be reviewed. Students will then be taken through a process of self reflection and resource gathering to find then pitch story ideas. The refined idea will be scripted through two drafts to create a short narrative film script of 5-8 minute duration. -- Course Website
