Systematic discussion of basic designs: completely randomised designs, randomised block designs, Latin square designs; from point of view of blocking, error reduction and treatment structure. Factorial design, 2k factorial designs, confounding and fractional factorial designs, general factorial designs, Analysis of co-variance. Response surface methodology and optimal designs.
