Advances in science and technology used in coastal and marine research improves the efficiency and accuracy of data collection, the scope and applicability of results, and ultimately, sustainable resource management. Advanced Marine Science and Technology 300 exposes students to the technology currently used in coastal and marine research and the science it underpins. Guest lecturers will present their current work using particular technologies and will pose real-life problems that can be addressed using these methods.
