This unit is designed to develop a basic understanding of the ways in which human movement is analysed from a biomechanical perspective. Kinematic variables that describe motion and kinetic variables that cause motion will be identified so that simple static analyses can be performed. Dynamic analysis of fundamental movement skills such as walking, jogging, running and sprinting. Electromyography will assist in identifying the muscle involvement required for movement. -- Course Website
