Students will build upon previous paramedic studies to develop their knowledge and skills in the ‘special population group’ (obstetric and paediatrics) in relation to the assessment and management of normal presentations and pre-hospital emergencies. These patient groups have unique anatomical, physiological and psychosocial issues which require special attention. -- Course Website
