This unit engages students in an exploration of integrity and accountability within legal, ethical and values frameworks. It provides an introduction to key legal discourses and frameworks. Students will develop competence in accessing and interpreting legal information and gain knowledge of key legal concepts relevant to social work practice. Ethics is considered within the Australian Association of Social Workers framework. Students will gain an introduction to social work values and undertake critical comparisons of personal and cultural values with social work values. -- Course Website
